We Recycle

If we can’t donate your old mattress to help someone in need we’ll recycle it where facilities exist. We are committed to keeping thousands of old mattresses out of landfill sites. When we deliver your new mattress/set purchase we will remove the old one.
There is a nominal charge of $14 per piece to help with donation/recycling costs.

There is a limit of one piece per piece purchased for removal.

At the recycle facility the mattress is completely torn down. The upholstery layers are incinerated to create energy. The metal springs are shredded and sent to a smelting factory where the metal is melted and reused. Primarily as wire. The Simmons factory in Montreal is a leader in the mattress industry by using wire that has recycled content to manufacture coils. We’ve partnered with MattCanada Environmental to offer this service.

MattCanada is a Montreal, Canada based mattress recycling company which was founded following several years of research together with mattress manufacturers and retailers. Discarded mattresses and spring boxes have a huge negative impact on the environment. Once landfills were included into this research, we had the confirmation that we needed to find a solution to rectify the growing problem.

Matt-Canada has avoided 1,400 000 pounds of products that were destined to go to the dumping from going to a landfill.
